Beth is a 24-year-old full-time mama, English graduate and self-employed writer living in Liverpool. Aside from books, she loves cooking (formerly working as a chef), Reading Football Club, amassing a disproportionate amount of baby clothes and really bad TV (think Bad Girls). She’s been blogging since 2001, although her early attempts were little more than maudlin teenage whining and hopes that her style has developed slightly since then. She is berated by 99% of the population of England for hating tea.

Carly is 27-years-old and has a Masters in Literature and Creative Writing. She somehow found herself living in Notting Hill two years ago and has no plans on leaving any time soon. With dreams of becoming a writer she usually has her nose in a book “researching” or writing feverishly about some form of nonsense. A self confessed geek she’s the first to admit she talks about books, twitter, video games and her cat far too much.

Char is 24 and lives in the wilds of Shropshire.  After deciding that 3 years of studying Law was more than enough for her, she now runs an architectural office. Mostly fuelled by caffeine, when she’s not zooming around on a variety of Guiding related activities, she likes to try a variety of crafts and is especially fond of making frocks to add to her amazing collection. She can usually be identified by her Irregular Choice shoes, as you’ll see if you check out her blog.

Claire is a 22-year-old digital and social media PR and freelance writer, living near London. She spends her week working in the bustle of the city, and her weekends heading out of the big smoke to somewhere a bit quieter; you’ll usually find her in Brighton, her old university town, browsing the shops in the North Laine, sitting on the beach or eating cake with friends in a tearoom. She loves language, photography, interior design and, of course, a good book, and hopes one day to live in a house big enough to have a room devoted solely to being her own little library.

While not indulging in her true passion – sleeping – she enjoys the theatre, writing, rowing, travel and reading (of course). She is equally happy wandering the streets of London as she is romping in the countryside with her two ridiculous little dogs.

Danni is 25 and lives in Brighton, and is currently doing an Access course so that she can study Psychology at university this year as a mature (ha!) student. She loves dresses, charity shopping, crisps and reading. Her ideal day consists of lying on the grass in the sun with a book, food, cider and music. Reality is watching Grey’s Anatomy at home and crying over cheesy storylines into a bottle of Baileys.

Emily is a 21-year-old English graduate from NY – North Yorkshire, that is, not New York. She is currently freelancing, part-timing, volunteering, blogging and, most importantly, reading a lot. Her favourite things include waterfalls, polar bears and breakfast in bed. She is always in possession of both a jam-packed Kindle and numerous creaking bookshelves. Kate is 25 and lives in London. She’s a graphic designer for a company in Surrey, and is one of those annoying people who doesn’t hate their job, even if it does mean she can be guilty of judging books by their covers and has to stare at a computer screen for eight hours a day. She dreams of seeing the world, bit by tiny bit, and of one day owning a house with a room with wall-to-wall books and a comfy armchair to curl up in. She loves Starbucks caramel macchiatos, and all manner of oriental food.

She currently works 9-5 in an administration office where she spends most of her time daydreaming about becoming a freelance journalist/novelist… the next J.K Rowling would do nicely.
